Dr. David Rosenstreich, M.D., director of the division of allergy and immunology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, reports that incidences of the disease are not only increasing in the United States, but also in most developed nations. Twenty-one million Americans are currently living with the potentially fatal disorder, and that number is likely to increase.
